Devil Squad - Frankie

My girlfriend Amanda came up with Frankie.

I was going through character designs and was working on a character called Frank, and Amanda looked through the team and said "Ok, so where's the girl? Every team needs a girl".

So reworking the character (which actually turned out much better, yes Amanda, you were right.), I came up with Frankie.

Devil Squad - Will

The next bit in my little comic. It took me ages to come up with Will, I knew I wanted a character who wasn't like everyone else, he had more old fashioned "heroic values" and didn't like the whole army thing. I spent ages doing different uniform designs when I decided to have him as a dark Cloak/Batman style character.

If you saw my 3D project last year, you might recognise this lad.

Gabriel's good fun to write, for the most part because he's a total smart-arse. More up soon!

I started doing this a while ago, so thought I'd put the first bit up on here!

Oh Snow

Two snow days have mucked up the progress of group work, halting the beginning of animation, recording sound, pretty much all digital work, so hopefully we can all pull it together and work hard on Monday the 11th Jan to hit that 15th deadline!

I thought the storyboards would look more interesting in greyscale, keeping them all the same scale of colours is not only a great time saver, it keeps all the shots relevant to each other.
